Founded in 1957, Penn Singers has evolved from an all female group (until 1971) to Penn’s premier Light Opera Company, performing fully-staged Gilbert and Sullivan light operas in the spring since 1972. We have found our niche in the Penn community by presenting spring productions such as Iolanthe, and are pleased to keep alive classically-oriented musical theater. While funded by the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Singers also depends on your support. Donations not only ensure quality productions, but also fund the purchase of music, performance spaces, and numerous other activities for our members.

Our donor program has 5 donor levels:

Up to $50:
Minstrels
$51 - $100: Grand Dukes
$101 - $250: Yeomen
$251 - $500: Major Generals
Over $500 Mikados

Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate, please send checks payable to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, to our office:
